A learner will be able to:

  • Identify differnet types of fires, explain and practice fire prevention.
  • Operate basic fire fighting equipment and perform basic fire fighting procedures.

Purpose of the Course:

Identifying, containing, preventing and extinguishing of different types of fires, by operating basic fire fighting equipment.

Accreditation:

This course is accredited by HWSETA and aligned with SAQA Unit Standard 252250.
