Leaners will be able to:

• Demonstrate and understand of emergency scene management and treat common injuries.
• Demonstrate an understanding of elementary anatomy and physiology.
• Assess and emergency situation and apply First Aid procedures to the emegency situation.

Purpose of Course:

Assess the emergency situation and providing basic Life Support and Basic First Aid in order to stabilize patients prior to transfer to the emergency services.

This course is an HWSETA Accredited course and is based on SAQA Unit Standard Number 119567.
